ZSH renders strange % symbol *only* upon startup

  • [x] I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate
  • OS version and name: macOS Big Sur 11.4 (20F71)
  • Hyper.app version: Hyper 3.1.0-canary.5 (stable)

Issue

I've only been able to reproduce this in the following circumstances:

  • Brand new Hyper bootup
  • Using ZSH

Doesn't happen with Terminal.app

It happens even with vanilla .zshrc

Seems like a problem with zsh.
