hyper Excessive use of RAM

Why does the app use over 1gig RAM? This use of resources will increase over time.

OS : ‍macOS Mojave Hyper : 2.1.1

Can you describe how many tabs you had open, with how much history, at the time this was observed?

I opened 3 tabs.

I used the youtube-dl client in the first tab.
In the second tab, I used brew to update and install the app.
I used the third tab of git and the zeit.co client.

I think that hyper was running about 4 or 5 hours.

Another thing to say is that I use zsh in the main terminal and apparently it's in hyper.

Same thing here, except that I think I reached a new record of 22GB ahah. After the window being out of focus for some time, when I get back to it, hyper freezes, its RAM increases, then decreases and it unfreezes. Basically what happens is that the longer the window is out of focus, the longer it will take to unfreeze and the more memory will consume in that freeze period - I reached 22GB because I leave my laptop on throughout the night.

@chabou I'm trying out the latest 3.0.0.canary.5 version to see if it has been fixed with #3409
