Products not showing in category page

I'm trying to diagnose why my products are showing, here's the symptoms:

• I have 2 storefronts, products are showing in only one of them.
• In the one with missing products, the categories are showing so I know the token works.
• I have compared the json data for products from the rest api for both, they look pretty identical
• I have made sure all products and categories show in the headless sales channel
• The products that are missing were imported with the rest api so maybe that makes a difference

Is there some other thing I'm forgetting to check?
