Struggling to use headlessly with GraphQL and the file upload field

When I submit my form, I am creating a GraphQL mutation to upload the submission, however, I've struggled to find good resources for uploading an asset to my CraftCMS volume headlessly. Have you got any examples of this working with the file upload field?
