Send an email if submission failed
Question
Is it possible to send an email to a responsible person if a submission was not saved successfully? The email should not be sent to the user who filled out the form, but rather to a person who is in charge of all the forms and submissions.

In short - no, mostly because that would produce an insane volume of email notifications, basically for whenever validation fails for a submission. That would be what we define as "a submission was not saved successfully".
If you're talking about when an email notification fails, that's the "Send Email Alert for Failed Notification" plugin setting.
Thanks for the quick response. I understand that you cannot send emails for validation errors - I don't want to do that either. I'm talking about errors which maybe occur randomly due to a server error or something else.
Yep, we don’t currently categorize different errors like that, but something we can look into for sure!

It's on our list to implement, but nothing yet, sorry. You could expect it by the end of the year though.
