Disable automatic reboot on password prompt
I'm using VeraCrypt 1.21 with windows 10 and I couldn't find any mention that the following issue has been resolved yet:
When the computer is turned on and the boot password prompt appears a timeout is running out after which the computer resets and again boots up to the password prompt. If no-one is there and the startup has been triggered by an unstable mouse or some other USB event this effectively is a boot loop that makes all hard drives and optical drives constantly cycle through their init routine, wearing out their mechanics.
I once returned from a business trip to a powercycling computer. My hard drives probably accumulated 10000 additional powercycles in 2 days because of this automatic reboot.
Please add an option to turn off the computer or simply do nothing if no password is entered. Automatic rebooting forever is the most stupid thing to do.
Thanks
