[Documentation] Request hand-holding guidance for Windows installer download options

Neither on the veracrypt.fr Home nor Downloads nor FAQ nor Documentation pages, nor on this git's README nor Releases is there an explanation on whether a fresh Windows user should want to download the VeraCrypt Setup 1.xx.x.exe file, or the VeraCrypt_Setup_x64_1.xx.x.msi file, or for that matter the VeraCrypt Portable 1.xx.x.exe file. This is special knowledge.

I suggest that every download location recommend to the Windows user which package is correct for them under various situations that warrant these 3 differing packages. As a power user, I immediately gravitate for Portable downloads myself. I have special knowledge that this is the incorrect thing to do when downloading VeraCrypt, but nobody has attempted to slap my hands for reaching for the Portable version.

There are also a few related issues that need resolving:

  • The Github release for 1.25.9 says Set minimum support for MSI installation to Windows 7. but the veracrypt.fr website says for Windows 10 and later.
  • The MSI installer says x64 bit, but the EXE installer does not say x86 or 32 or 64 or 32/64 bit. Merits and drawbacks are also not explained.
  • The Portable EXE contents cannot be extracted via 7-Zip, making it feel not very "portable."
  • The veracrypt.fr website uses spaces in the download filenames, but the Github releases uses periods in the EXE release filenames. (The MSI filenames use underscores instead). This creates an Internet ecosystem where exists two different installer filenames for the same installers.
  • The veracrypt.fr Documentation contains no pre-install or setup documentation. It starts off with fully installed software.

Thanks.
