Keystroke not recognized for 4 seconds after hibernation

Expected behavior

keystroke recognized immediately like after fresh boot, sleep, restart etc.

Observed behavior

wehen the veracrypt password screen appers i have to press any key. wait ~4 seconds and only after that the keystrokes are recognized.

Steps to reproduce

1. hibernate
2. wakeup
3. wait till vera password screen
4. press any key, wait 4 long seconds. only then keystrokes are recognized
