[Feature-Request] Implement RAM encryption for keys and passwords for Linux & MacOS
Re-opening #579, as this is still an issue.
Original issue text:
Hello, Since version 1.24, Veracrypt can encrypt the keys and passwords in the RAM on Windows. I think this nice feature is helpful on other platforms, too. Is it possible to implement this nice feature for Linux, MacOS etc? Thank you very much!"

Hi, I was wondering why there was no option to enable RAM encryption in the Linux version of veracrypt. I think most people who would need RAM encryption such as journalists and whistle blowers would not use Windows because it spies on its users. For instance Edward Snowden used a highly secure linux operating system called Tails OS when he leaked classified documents to the public. Can we have an option to have RAM encryption for Linux in later releases so people can have the same protection as in Windows please? Thanks.
