Deprecate Python <= 3.5 so type hints can be used

Would also reduce heredoc line count, since Sphinx can deduce types from the hints if they're not explicitly provided.

Looks like Python 3.4 is all but gone from distributions - the last one I can find ATM is Debian Jessie, tagged oldoldstable. Not sure if there's need to support that.
