Macbook air doesn't boot usb
Hello
After many attempts I can't get macbook air to recognize the usb flash as a boot.
It is partitioned with a 125gb extFat drive and a 32mb fat drive.
I have tried in mbr, gpt and gpt secure boot.
I press alt during before boot but can only boot internal hdds, usb doesn't appears.
In another machine I can start ventoy and load isos with legacy mode.
Any ideas?
It started up fine with my Macbook Pro and MacPro. It just wouldn't boot any of the ISOs. Did you use the GUI or the script?
Ventoy doesn't support mac machine now.
Works on my mac...
If you are using an M1 mac, then that is likely why it's not showing up. I currently use an Intel mac
Hey thanks for the comments. Is it possible to fail to use a usb 3.0 pendrive?
It tends to work for me, even on older Intel Macs with EFI 1.1, but no images will boot - it just freezes. I don't have any EFI 2.x Intel Macs to test with, but perhaps it simply doesn't work on Macs at the moment due to the slightly oddball firmware?
I assume it probably does work on the newer Intel Macs that use EFI 2.x. Any progress here?
