What happened?
Its similar problem to issue #723 https://github.com/ventoy/Ventoy/issues/723. I have Crucial T500 drive and tried to use method from above resolve, but wihout succes. USB boot and freeze on "downloading vmlinuz ...'"
Try booting with an ethernet connection so that it can download the files needed.
Only one happend - freeze on "Downloading Initrd..."
I can confirm that this solution works. Just updated Crucial T500 1TB firmware to P8CR004 with Ventoy.
Maybe would work directly with isohybrid https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Solid_state_drive#Crucial
I had this exact problem and the magical spell "a.txt" also worked to update my T500 to P8CR004
Thanks @ventoy
