What happened?

Ok, this might be stupid because I don't even think it's possible, but touchscreen option? I know I can use a USB hub, but some may not or feel like getting one.

Just an unnecessary feature.

That would mean adding mouse support (probably) or something like it, so probably not possible without quite a few changes.
