Issues installing on Mac

I am having issues installing velocyto on my Mac. I was able to install all the dependencies with conda and pip respectively but the pip install velocyto command fails. I have tried suggestions in #53 but they have not worked so far. Here is how the command fails:

Building wheels for collected packages: velocyto Building wheel for velocyto (setup.py) ... error ERROR: Command errored out with exit status 1: ... compilation terminated. error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1

I'm encountering the same problem. I also tried the suggestions in #53 but so far I didn't get it to work.
