Problem installing velocyto.R

Hi, I am trying to install Velocyto on MacOS 10.14.6, Rstudio 1.2.1335, R_3.6.1.

I have followed the instructions on how to install velocyto.R and it works up to the the point when I try to install velocyto.R with:

library(devtools) install_github("velocyto-team/velocyto.R")

I get an error message in a dialogue in R_studio saying:

"Install build tools" (yes)_(no)

While the build tools have already been installed. I have tried to modify the build tool paths in many ways but cannot make it work. Can somebody please help?

Are there any known configuration issues with the versions of the OS and the R-softwares in combination with velocyto.R that I am trying to install?

Has anybody a working velocyto.R with the same versions of the OS and R_studio, R.

Any help would be most appreciated.
