Support React 16

Hi --

Currently the React being used in this package does not support the newer 16 React.

Is there a roadmap to getting this updated to support the newer React? So that It can be used in newer applications

I'm curious about this as well. I'm interested in using this from https://github.com/metasoarous/oz, but could see this being a barrier to that.

More generally, I see that Voyager is still in alpha release, and hasn't been touched much in the last 2 years. Is it going to continue to be developed/supported in the future?

Thanks so much for all your work! I really hope to be able to continue to use this project.
