Trouble with wallet import/recovery from vechain thor mobile to sync

I lost my phone so I no longer have access to my mobile wallet using the vechain thor application. I downloaded sync for desktop. I have my mneumonic words. Not sure if I remember the wallet password. I know the passcode I had to enter to get into the wallet via the app. The wallet I imported is empty. I am able to look at the transaction log and see my vet. What am I doing wrong? How do I regain access to my wallet?

hi @freemindedclark , please follow the instruction to import your wallet. if you enter your mnemonic correctly you should see your assets on Sync.

I have done this and it imports and empty wallet. I now have a new phone so I tried getting it back on the vechainthor mobile wallet app with the same results. Am I missing a step or something?
