About chemical modifications

Dear Vadim,

I am trying to make DIANN recognise a possible chemical modification I introduced at the cysteine level. What I did was to call a new modification, named 3333, e.g. '--mod UniMod:3333,585.254408'. Then, I allowed the modification to be variable, with the command '--var-mod UniMod:3333,585.254408,C'. I am not sure I used the right syntax because when I produced a library with this modification, I obtained the same number of features that I obtained without the modification. Or maybe the modification was lost somehow.

Could you comment on that? Thank in advance. Best, Giovanni
