Thanks for the reply! I use DIA-NN 1.8.1 to predict metaproteomic spectral lib using IGC 9.9 protein fasta (10,372,716 entries) and the GUI was attached. The programe was stuck at "Processing FASTA" and the RAM usage was about 500GB (99% of the computer), but the CPU utilization was only ~ 5%. I wonder if DIA-NN could complete the spectral lib prediction? Or how should I adjust the parameters? Thanks again.
