Gradient lightstrip support

I would like to know if it's possible to include support for gradient lightstrips in screen syncing. Currently, only bulbs appear to work while the screen is synced. I noticed "Hue Play Gradient Strip for PC support" in the CHANGELOG.md, but it doesn't work for sync, or it's just not work with non-play gradient strips. Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi @lszeremeta. Right now, only the Play Gradient strips are supported. Simply because I own Play Gradient but I have no access to non-Play Gradient strips or tubes.

I think, it is possible to add support for your Gradient strip but I need help to gather information. Are you willing to help?

I would need some information on how you set the gradient strip in reality and the app. E.g. How the app deal with the possibility of bending the strip?:-) Also, I would need you to share some data from your bridge with me. Finally, willingness to test would be appreciated.

I have just noticed the TV gradient light strips are not marked as 'play'. The TV gradient strips are also supported. I suppose you are interested in: image Right?

Exactly this lightstrip as on the image 🙂 I can try once again, but it seemed not to work correctly in sync.

I checked again, and sync doesn't work for this lightstrip.
