Preview images not updated correctly after download

I have screen after screen that looks like this (but then I also have screens that display just fine - sometimes a picture looks like what you see here, and other times the same picture displays just fine)

I also encountered this issue. In the background the previews are actually downloaded but the refresh notification for the display does not get always processed.

@dln949, on a side note, do you have preview generator set up?

One more question do the pictures not load at all or do they just take a very long time to load? Can you also provide logs next time you have this issue?

This is the preview generator: https://github.com/nextcloud/previewgenerator

It pre-generates previews so that they do not take for ever when you need them. I strongly recommend using this to improve fetch time for previews.

I just published v0.25.3. It contains a major refactoring of the preview retrieving logic and should bring an improvement in speed and stability.

@galaxyrun can you be a bit more specific? Does your browse view work?

I've deleted my comment now, since I was able to get the most photos to my home view. I just opened a folder in the browse view section and they appeared in the home view category
