Delta backup "out of range" error in merge phase

• XO origin: the sources
• Versions:
  • Node: 12.16.3
  • xo-web: 5.58.2
  • xo-server: 5.58.2
  • XCP-ng: 7.6.0

Expected behavior

No error during backup run.

Current behavior

During a backup run of 45 delta backup VMs, one of the backups failed during the merge phase with this error message:

Error: The value of "value" is out of range. It must be >= 0 and <= 4294967295. Received 4_294_969_267

I verified the logs for xo-server as well as kernel logs on both the XCP-ng host and XO server, but could not find any correlated error message.

Does the error appear in a backup log?

If so, you can export (or copy to clipboard) the raw logs, it might contain more information.

When i manually retried the job, it worked.

I'm wondering if you could reproduce the problem and find a solution ?
