Is it possible to create box around node using getgraphbbox ?

I want to create boxes on the nodes. For example, when I click on the node it should open a box. I want to store some information inside the box.

I even tried using the method getgraphbbox but nothing really happens. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you
