I just tested los 16 on my phone and it booted fine. I dont have miui pie as primary but i provided pie vendor and firmware separately to secondary rom.

You should not and need not flash vendor firmware when ur primary vendor is already at 8.11.15 . Please describe the environment of your primary and secondary ROM. Magisk flashed...

Yes multirom supports the android 10 version of system-as-root. In addition to that, it can also boot a system-as-root secondary rom on a non system-as-root device.

Actually the passwords are stored in the hardware keystore. When u add a password/pattern/PIN in secondary, the primary password shall be overwritten and primary wont be able to access it....

As far as I know, multirom recovery supports both Full disk encryption and File based encryption
