Neither the original code or pull request code works. Mark this project as abandoned.

I mean, it's possible that someone just needs to take ownership of an authoritative fork. There are still people interested in the project.

I'm currently working on a rewrite. It works now, but needs a lot of polishing. Once I finish it, I will also create a website version so that the average person can use it. I'll let you guys know when I finish.

Alright, it took a little longer than expected, but it's ready to go now! There are two modules, the first is similar to this repo, but it works with the latest dmv website, and uses typescript/es6, so the code is much cleaner. It is much simpler however, as it only checks once. Automatic background checking will have to be done manually by you. I still need to add documentation, but the typescript type definitions should suffice for now. It is located here. In addition to this, I made an app that provides this functionality in a more accessible and user-friendly way. Check it out here.

Thank you so much! I'm newbie here, I downloaded the file but not so sure how to proceed, I tried the steps in the old "readme", it seems not to work. It would be great if you could share "Readme" for the new file. Meanwhile, I also tried the app, it says my information is incorrect, which I'm pretty sure correct. Thank yo again for creating this project, life saver!

Double check your info by putting it into the DMVs site, see if that works. There is a chance that the driving test appointment scheduler is broken, if you are using that.
