Implement variant detail sheet

The new filter interface slides the variant detail sheet in as an overlay card from the right side. This feature was requested to be made available also in the current interface.

However there seem to be unsolvable issues with the overlay library, so this is stalled. (unsolvable in a reasonable amount of time)
