I just wanted to report this again then I found out that I already reported this one 2,5y ago :astonished: Please catch connection exceptions so they don't clutter the journal/(sys)log....
Well, I *also* reported this in a duplicate even longer ago: #476
Ping, Tracebacks are still cluttering the journal when not connected.
Btw, the server responded with "404 Not Found".
I can't attach any logs because they are completely empty.

This is basically the last blocker for me to switch to Nagstamon using the alertmanager integration, because at this point I can't rely on Nagstamon to show me all alerts.
