Support in android Firefox

Hello there, I would like to use skip silence extension for local files in my android phone. I use Firefox in my phone and it supports add-ons to an extent.

While I searched for skip silence it didn't show up in results. Is there any possibility that I can install the current add-on in any other way? or does it lack support for Firefox android. If that's the case, can we please get the support for Firefox android as well.

AFAIK they recently rewrote the Android version so now only specific extensions are officially supported. You can try installing it manually in the Nightly version https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2020/09/29/expanded-extension-support-in-firefox-for-android-nightly/. I believe they're working on making all extensions available for Firefox for Android. Also consider using the Kiwi browser (Chromium with extensions support).
