Describe the bug
- Enable the EP W10 taskbar
- In the Windows settings, set Personalisation -> Taskbar -> When using multiple displays, show my taskbar apps on to "taskbar where window is open"
- Connect a new monitor (or switch from duplicate to extend mode)
Expected outcome
I expect each window entry to remain visible on its appropriate taskbar.
Actual outcome
All the window entries disappear from the EP W10 taskbar. Each one is restored when its window is made active, e.g. by clicking it or with Alt+Tab.

Does it happen on this build? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/may-13-2025-kb5058411-os-build-26100-4061-356568c2-c730-469e-819d-b680d43b1265
Sorry, my bad. This issue has been happening since at least March, though, so I would imagine so. I always keep my system up to date, but I'm not on an Insider channel or anything.
If it's a preview update, I always check if it started happening after installing the preview update.
I'll have this checked later.
This is sadly still happening. Do we have an update on this?
