Weather widget WebView2 process 12% CPU usage

The weather widget process got possibly stuck on PC restoring from sleep.

My CPU temperature dropped 20 degrees the moment I killed it. It's the chart under the cursor.

Is there something that it's in EP code, or is it Edge issue?

I've found some ExporerPatcher logs for weather so also attaching. 003056.log 000243.log 000003.log

I've had this issue as well, especially when disconnecting from the internet. I disabled the weather widget in the meantime. Hopefully it is resolved.

I have this randomly happening as well. I turned it off in the meantime with hopes of a fix in the future.

Personnally on stock Windows it would happen to me every time I booted my PC with no Internet. It would freeze the entire desktop whenever that happened. The issue is not EP, it's MS Edge trying to access the weather over and over again.
