22621.3527.65.1 App started crashing the windows Explorer today whenever I try to start a program by using the search box on W11 OS Name Microsoft Windows 11 Pro Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631

I found some info recommending installing it by changing the setup file to a different name and still crashed.

IE was removed from windows. Do you mean microsoft edge?

Please post windows version and build. You can find this by running winver. Your build number is incomplete. Please post explorer patcher version.

Please include what settings you changed in explorer patcher properties application. These should be screen shots. If you can, please change it to english first.

Please include any other software you have installed that modifies the UI of windows.

Isn’t what I posted 22621.3527.65.1 for the App and Windows 11 Pro Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631 the info you are requesting? I downloaded the latest version this morning and installed it on the computer because I thought maybe I needed the latest version. I don’t have any program that modifies the UI for windows. I uninstalled whatever version was before and and reinstalled it with the latest version I downloaded this morning. The way it crashes is when I try to start a program by typing its name. Once it crashes three times the app shows a message saying it has crashed three times and to get the latest version. The favorites links menu works fine but the app crashes with the program search to start a program.

Please run winver to get the windows build number. It should be in the format of number.number, not just number.

Fresh install of W11: image

Downloaded the latest version of the EP image

I tried running the EP, and it crashed. There are no other 3rd party apps installed on the system except 1Password.
