Uninstalling Explorer Patcher does not restore default Win 11 right click context menu

Happens consistently and persists through restart of computer.

You have to disable it first. on explorer patcher. Explorer Patcher uses most of its stuff by reg hacks (possibly) and the Windows 11 context menu has to be disabled. Explorer Patcher can't even disable it automaticly. You have to open command prompt as Admin. And this this into the prompt. reg.exe delete “HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}” /f. This should forcefully delete the reg key that disables the Windows 11 Context menu. And dont remove the ". This helps it get the key to remove the key. And once you have done that open Task Manager and search up Explorer. And once you have found Windows Explorer in the task manager right click on it and press "Restart". Or restart your PC or laptop. and if you can't restart the task right click on "Windows Explorer" again and end task. Your whole screen should be black but the Task Manager should be still open. Now press "Run new task" and type "explorer" and your Windows 11 right click context menu should be restored. If you want the Windows 10 context menu again run cmd as admin and type reg.exe add “HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32” /f And restart explorer. This should solve your problem to get the Windows 11 context menu again and to disable the Windows 10 context menu. This works on all versions of Windows 11. like home and pro edition. (ik i am not valinet but this is a only fix if u cant install explorer patcher again because microsoft thinks its a virus hacktool.)

Before uninstalling, in the EP properties application, go to About and click on Restore default settings.

Then you can uninstall EP.
