Pinned section text / start menu still visible when enabling "Open Start in All apps by default"

It shows the pinned section heading and sometimes still shows the non all apps section like in the following video when enabling Start menu > Open Start in All apps by default

i've got the same issue too, 23H2 + 22621.2506.60.1 the feature is only work for first few attempt

Try uninstalling EP, reboot and just apply the registry change instead. Let me know if that causes the same bug you mentioned here.

The registry tweak "MakeAllAppsDefault" no longer works in Windows 11.

By the way, I hope "Open Start in All apps by default" can be more efficient, like direct to "all apps" page instead of automatically clicking the "all apps" button when the start menu is clicked.

If Microsoft removed the code that caused it to go to the all apps page when opening the start menu, then all EP can do is have it automatically click on all apps when you open the start menu.

The code has to be there for EP to take advantage of it.

Switched to windows 10 start menu, then back to 11 start menu and it started working for me.
