Unable to customize Systray icons

Open jwgn opened this issue 2 years ago • 7 comments

Since latest updates of Windows 11 and ExplorerPatcher, I am no longer able to selectively hide or show Systray symbols.

There is a link in EP Taskbar settings "Customize notification area icons" which leads to the "old" Windows system settings. Settings can be changed here, but without any effect. After changing a setting and clicking Ok, the setting is reverted upon opening the settings again.

I also have this issue. Only the option "Always show all icons and notifications on the taskbar" works and this is what I use for now. Any option changed from the drop down list for each icon to select its preferences is just ignored.

I am also having the same issue. I changed the windows taskbar style to 11 and then back to 11 and the options appeared again, but the icons are not obeying the settings.

I also have this issue. It works if I pick the Windows 11 style taskbar but not the Windows 10 style.

I am having the same issue. Exactly as eadamsintel reported it.

Is this the same problem as described in https://github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher/discussions/1172#discussion-4990862 ? If so, you can drag and drop icons.

Dragging and dropping items seem to work 👍
