recipe descriptions in readme

we have a bunch of documentation about what all the recipes do and how you can use them to deploy different types of nodes in a given cluster. we need to copy this info into the readme and show some examples of how this can be used in vagrant etc.

I'm trying to setup valhalla. Can you dump the docs to some place, or provide a link to them?

@benstadin we are somewhat in flux at the moment. currently we are experimenting with docker as a means of running valhalla. i personally prefer this method and hope we can move to it in the future. i was wondering if you might be interested in such a setup as well. if so see here: https://github.com/valhalla/docker

if not, we can probably dump the docs in this repo but its unlikely that we'll maintain them because we may scuttle this repo entirely at some point.
