The original author passed in 2023 (https://vancouversunandprovince.remembering.ca/obituary/munroe-green-1088959957). I think it's great that his work is being kept alive and popular in this way :)
This allows to ignore additional acls, such as `lustre.lov` which might be present on HPC clusters.
