(Suggestion) Interference Slider

I would like to see some sort of interference effect in NTSC-RS. The slider could simulate how far away the TV is from the transmitter. I wouldn't know how to fully implement this but it would cool to see.

Can you provide a visual example of what this would look like and how it cannot simply be accomplished with the existing noise sliders?
