Camera Emulation?

Every VHS camcorder/vcr has a different look. newer Professional cameras and VCRs have a much better quality than other older, standard VCRs.

Now, I have a professional VHS camcorder that gets hooked up to a portable VCR. The camera is an RCA NewVicon Color Video Camera hooked up to a Hitachi Portable Video Cassette Recorder VT-680MA. These were professional cameras back in the 80s, but they did not have great quality. They had green light trails when a brighter object is shown. Kind of like staring at the sun for a second and the light is burned into your eye.

this seems like something entirely outside of the scope of this project. ntsc-rs simulates ntsc video artifacts, not the way vintage video cameras functioned.
