Make swiping less sensitive

"As a side notice, on my phone the carousel is extremely sensitive when I touch it. For example if I want to just scroll the page downwards and I swipe up on the carousel, the page does indeed scroll downwards but the carousel also swipes left or right almost immediately, even though I barely moved my finger."

I have the opposite issue. Sliding on mobile is not sensitive enough and I need to increase sensitivity. An option to specify the minimum swipe distance and replace the SWIPE_MIN_DISTANCE_PX unit would be handy. Is this in progress or are you open to contribution on this?

Also experiencing issues on ipad swiping where it ends up dragging the entire page when I try to swipe, no issues with the buttons clicking left or right though.
