File selection window won't open

I have an issue where the file selection window will not open on Hyprland, video shows it in action.

Output:

Setup:

$ pacman -Q | grep portal
xdg-desktop-portal 1.20.0-1
xdg-desktop-portal-hyprland 1.3.9-5
$ echo $XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP
Hyprland

It's possible that this is an issue with xdg-desktop-portal-hyprland; but that works fine with other applications so I'm inclined to believe yad is the one with the problem, hence why I am reporting it here.
