Side-scan sonar support?

Hi, I am doing some research about underwater mapping. Will your project support side-scan sonar in the future? Thank you!

Hi @yezhenzhao, I still have no time plan for that but it is something I really want to implement/cooperate on now. The EU project for which this simulator was mostly developed has ended and now I am picking up from where it ended to keep maintaining the packages. I will certainly add this to important feature requests.
