Usb timeout fixes - better scan failure handling - prevent dbus clash with fprintd service - "--quiet" dbus option
This is a roll-up of fixes implemented with the help of Windsurf, which improves the general behaviour on my system. Reducing error conditions on sensor timeout, usb sensor detection and waiting timeout.
Tested with multiple suspend/resume, login, screen-lock, screen saver timeout and fingerprint validation operations. So far so good!
The debian install mod should manage the potential clash of fprintd.service with open-fprintd.service masking fprintd.service.
Adding a "--quiet" option to dbus logging to prevent the exposure of tls info to the logs in normal operation.
The starting point was the available AUR release 0.14-4 merging the current master branch.
Further evaluation needed before including in release?
