Weird gray bar on the left (in UTM main window)

Configuration

• UTM Version: 4.7.4 (114)
• macOS Version: 26.0
• Mac Chip (Intel, M1, ...): M1

There's a weird UI bug in the UTM main window (or "UTM Library"): sometimes there's a gray bar on the left (the same height as the VM screenshot)

It being there seems to have something to do with the size of the window.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Keep resizing the main UTM window until you see a weird gray bar on the left

That's not a "weird gray bar" that's the screenshot extending behind the sidebar following Apple's new Liquid Glass guidelines. I looked into extending the screenshot as well but it looks worse whether it's tiling the screenshot or stretching it.

OK, I’ll try again: please make the screenshot not randomly extend behind the sidebar (as shown in the video above: sometimes the spurious gray bar appears, sometimes it doesn’t)

I'll file a feedback with apple. This looks like a SwiftUI issue.

The background extension effect mirros around the sidebar split line and blurs the left.
