UTM shows "DRM Protected Video" in place of VM screenshot

Describe the issue

On the new macOS 26 Developer Beta 1, UTM shows "DRM Protected Video" in place of the video preview for virtual machines:

(This does not affect the actual VM display, only the preview in the main screen)

Also only occurs with Apple backend, QEMU backend still shows preview:

Configuration

  • UTM Version: 4.6.5 (108)
  • macOS Version: 26.0 Developer Beta 1 (25A5279m)
  • Mac Chip (Intel, M1, ...): M1
