USB Camera with Windows 11 on MacBook Air M2

I want to connect an industrial USB-camera (IDS UI-3590CP-C-HQ R2) to the virtual machine. Also I am using the apple AV Multiport adapter. I can see it in the device manager but the drivers won't install properly. Is the camera connected properly to the virtual machine and how can I get the drivers working?

Configuration

  • UTM Version: Latest version
  • macOS Version: Ventura 13.6
  • Mac Chip (Intel, M1, ...): M2 config.plist.zip image image

There is a workaround: use Microsoft RDP client and passthrough webcam & microphone with it.
