Not able to establish internet connection UTM 4.0 on iOS

Describe the issue UTM 4.0 is able to load and run my previously saved VM (Debian 10 x64) and connect to the internet fine. However, not able to establish internet connection when creating any new VMs (tried with multiple distros including Debian 11, Sparky, others).

I'm aware that past versions of UTM have sometimes had difficulty connecting to the internet, and I've tried the wiki known problems page solution including setting my DNS server to 1.1.1.1 but it hasn't solved the problem. I even made sure to duplicate the Network settings that work in my old VM that does connect to the internet (i.e. DHCP start address 10.0.2.15, netmask 24, gateway 10.0.2.2, DNS server 1.1.1.1)

Happy to do additional troubleshooting if specify what next to test
