I've got the same problem with ubuntu. The only operating system I'm able to run now is the one offered by utm itself, i.e prebuilt one. "Guest has not initialized the display (yet)" - the message I get during a boot.
Oops, my fault. I put an iso image in the wrong place. Now it's working
I am unable to upgrade from Fedora 35->36. It just hangs at the boot screen:
