It is a Linux Foundation top project, with Linux Foundation Fellow as chair person.

New comers can easily learn the neat way of building systems for long term life cycles.

What's relationship between yocto and openembedded? I see http://downloads.yoctoproject.org/mirror/sources/ and http://sources.openembedded.org/ have same directory structures.

yocto提供构建工具，openembed是构建使用的配置文件。
