Messed-up system icons

After adding and deleting custom resolution (without any luck, btw) I'm now seeing broken images and names for displays: Previously I had nice retina-like images, including a nice small image of a MacBook: How do I restore all settings to their defaults? Images are broken forever, even if RDM is not running. I presume this software writes something to a system folder. How to remove all those modifications?

Remove /Library/Displays/Contents/Resources/Overrides folder.
