Add disclaimer to multi-solution finite faults

Open hschovanec-usgs opened this issue 6 years ago • 2 comments

When finite faults have two equally valid solutions a disclaimer should be shown in the results stating, "The solutions of two nodal planes explain the data equally well. This solution is <X> of 2."

Examples can be found under the results tab in the backup html sent with the product: solution 1 solution 2

Also, is it possible to hide "The data below are the most preferred data available" and "The data below are NOT the most preferred data available" in these cases, since both solutions are equally valid?

For the implementors:

This is similar to how focal-mechanism products are supposed to be handled.

When there are multiple focal-mechanism products from the same source; they are supposed to be considered equally preferred (maybe each should have checkmark?, or maybe neither?). This only applies when the most preferred product of this type, is accompanied by another product from the same source with the same type; and only for focal-mechanism and finite-fault type products.
